Currently working on a prediction attempt for Solar Proton Events (SPEs) using proton and soft X-Ray flux data from GOES. With current and future considerations of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) models of the solar corona, we explore any relevance of plasma conditions in regions of coronal mass ejection (CME) generation to the production of SPEs.
