Victor Solomon is currently a Ph.D student working with Dr. Rafal A. Angryk at the Department of Computer Science, Georgia State University (GSU). His research interests are centered around Machine Learning, Big Data Mining and Deep Learning. As a member of the GSU Data Mining Laboratory (DMLab), he is currently working on analyzing multivariate time series data for optimizing performance in flare prediction. He is also looking to build and optimize robust machine learning models for solar flare forecasting tasks.
